Crankcase Pressure Regulator Valve: Service and Repair




CDR Valve and Hoses Replacement (EFI/MFI)






Removal Procedure

The crankcase depression regulator valve (1) is replaced as an assembly. Replace the hoses (3), pipes (3) and grommet (4) as required, if the inspection indicates any cracks or decay.

Refer to the appropriate service information for diesel crankcase ventilation system maintenance.

1. Remove the clamp (2) at the CDR valve (1).
2. Remove the hose (3) from the CDR valve (1).
3. Remove the CDR valve by pulling straight up.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the CDR valve (1) into the valve cover.
2. Install the hose (3).

Notice: Refer to Component Tightening Notice in cautions and notices.

3. Install the clamp(2).
Tighten
Tighten the clamp to 1.7 Nm ( 15 lb in ).
