Throttle Position Sensor: Description and Operation

This sensor is used to detect throttle movement and position. To accomplish this, a 5 volt signal from the ECU is supplied to the sensor's potentiometer. As the throttle pin moves the potentiometer its resistance output value changes. The new value is then recorded by the ECU for processing.
