KT11 - Check IMRC Solenoid Mechanical Operation

- While remaining in Output State test mode, reconnect the Intake Manifold Runner Control System (IMRC) solenoid.

- Slowly apply 54 kPa (16 in Hg) of vacuum to the manifold vacuum port of the IMRC solenoid.

- Depress and release the throttle.

- Is vacuum released?

Yes -- Remove vacuum pump setup and jumper from STI to SIGNAL Return. Go to KT12. KT12 - Check Source Vacuum to IMRC Solenoid

No -- Remove vacuum pump setup and jumper from STI to Signal Return. Replace IMRC solenoid. Rerun quick-test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
