Removal





METER / GAUGE / DISPLAY: COMBINATION METER: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD Removal

4. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD Removal

5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal

6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal

7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization

8. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL Removal

9. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

11. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

14. REMOVE COMBINATION METER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply protective tape to the areas shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the 4 screws.





(c) Move the combination meter sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.





(d) Disengage the clamp.

(e) Disconnect each connector to remove the combination meter sub-assembly.
