Functional Test

FUNCTIONAL TEST

Notes:

- Perform test at a distance of 5 meters (15 feet) from right front fender.

- If possible, perform test outside to make best use of unfavorable conditions.

Basic function:

- Lock/unlock vehicle by pressing lock/unlock buttons.

- Check door and trunk lid status each time.

- Pressing LOCK button causes turn signals to flash once and when pressing UNLOCK button, turn signals flash twice.

Safety function:

- Open locked vehicle by pressing UNLOCK button.

- Wait 30 seconds.

- Verify that all doors and trunk lid lock again automatically. Remote Deactivation, checking

- Switch ignition on.

- Attempt to Lock and unlock vehicle by pressing LOCK/UNLOCK button.

- Transmitter must be deactivated and not function after ignition has been switched on.

Note:
The function check is OK if basic function, locking function, and lock/latch function works with all transmitters.
