Transmitter Battery, Changing

TRANSMITTER BATTERY, CHANGING

- Remove phillips screw from transmitter housing.

- Separate transmitter housing halves carefully.

- Replace discharged batteries with lithium batteries of same type and voltage, ensure correct polarity.

- Reassemble housing.

Note:

Originally, transmitter coding was performed at the rear lock. Beginning with model year 1996 coding will be done at the driver's door.
