Blower Motor: Service and Repair

- Remove glove box.
- Mark wires and disconnect from fresh air blower
- Remove four screws -A-. (Fig. A)
- Loosen blower motor (and mounting plate) from heater box.
- Disengage three rubber bushings -B-. (Fig. A)
- Remove mounting plate and blower motor from heater box.

- Remove connector assembly -A- (Fig. B) by turning mounting plate in direction of arrow.
- Remove blower motor.

Install in reverse order of removal noting the following:
- Spray three rubber bushings -B- (Fig. A) with silicone before installing.
- Coat sealing surface of mounting plate with silicone rubber sealant before installing.
- Place blower motor in heater box, then install mounting plate over blower motor
- Rubber bushings -B- (Fig. A) must lock into mounting plate

NOTE: If necessary, reach through fresh air intake duct to hold blower motor from moving.
