Fuel Filter: Service and Repair
1. Release fuel system pressure as outlined under Fuel Delivery and Air Induction / Service and Repair.2. Remove air cleaner and intake hose.

3. Hold fuel filter and loosen eye bolt and flare nut, Fig. 58.
4. Remove fuel hose and main fuel pipe connections.
5. Remove fuel filter.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
Fig. 59 Fuel Filter Tightening Specifications:
a. Tighten fuel filter connections to specifications shown in Fig. 59.
b. Apply voltage to fuel pump and check system for leaks.
