1. Remove caliper assembly as described under Caliper Replacement.

2. Remove lockpin, bushing, caliper support, pin boot and boot ring.
3. Using compressed air, remove two piston boots and pistons. To prevent damage to pistons, place a suitable block of wood in caliper when removing pistons.
4. Using finger tip, remove piston seal.
5. Reverse procedure to assemble, noting the following:
a. Inspect cylinders and pistons for wear, damage and/or corrosion.
b. Inspect caliper body and sleeve for wear.
c. Apply suitable brake fluid to cylinders, then install piston seals into cylinder groove. Do not wipe grease from piston seal.
d. Apply brake fluid to pistons and insert into cylinders by pushing downward into caliper. Do not twist pistons into caliper.
e. Fill piston edges with grease supplied with seal and boot repair kit, then install piston boots.
f. Lubricate sliding surface of guide, lockpins and boots with grease supplied with seal and boot repair kit.
g. Install guide and lockpins. Ensure head marks match with identification marks on caliper body.
