Differential Assembly: Service and Repair

1. Remove driveshafts as described in "Driveshaft, Replace."
2. Position a suitable jack under rear axle assembly, then drain differential gear oil.
3. Remove center exhaust system components as necessary.
4. Scribe mating marks on differential companion flange and flange yoke for assembly reference.
5. Remove differential to propeller shaft connection, then support propeller shaft with wire.
6. Remove dynamic damper to differential support member bolts.
7. Remove differential support member bolts, then the carrier.

8. Reverse procedure to install, tighten bolts to specifications shown.
