Air Injection: Testing and Inspection
CAUTION: If the pulsed secondary air injection valve is broken, exhaust gases will be drawn back into the system.Disconnect the pulsed secondary air injection hose from the air cleaner, and then place a small steel plate against the end of the hose. Check the amount of secondary air intake while the engine is at idle.
