Fuel Gauge Module: Description and Operation

On flexible fuel vehicles only, the fuel gauge circuit contains a flexible fuel gauge module. This module is a voltage converter (AC to DC) that prevents the fuel tank gauge level sending unit from corrosion

Power for the module is supplied on circuit F11. This circuit is HOT in the OFF, RUN, and START positions and protected by a 5 Amp fuse located in cavity 17 of the junction block.

Power for the fuse is supplied on circuit A81 from the ignition switch. Ground for the module is supplied on circuit Z1 and terminates at the body ground located at the left kick panel.
