4 Does Not Back Up

PROBLEM
Does not move backward.

DESCRIPTION
With the engine at idle, you cannot make the vehicle move backward by changing the selector lever position from N to R. In this case, an abnormal low reverse brake or front clutch pressure, or a defective low reverse brake or front clutch is suspected.

PROBABLE CAUSE OF TROUBLE
- Abnormal low reverse brake pressure
- Abnormal front clutch pressure
- Defective front clutch
- Defective low reverse brake
- Defective valve body
