17. Transmission Case Assemble
Transmission Case Assemble 1.
If removed, apply threadlocker GM P/N 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) to the shift shaft plugs.
2.
Using a suitable driver, install the shift shaft plugs into the transmission front case.
3.
Notice: Install the backup lamp switch, with the gasket, into the transmission case.

Tighten the backup lamp switch to
44 Nm (32 ft. lbs.).
