Blower Motor Speed Control

- MERPOL (Coolant Hose Lubricant) ESE-M99B144-B

Removal and Installation

1. Drain the engine cooling system.






2. Disconnect the vacuum hoses and the wire harness connector from the evaporative emission canister purge valve (EVAP canister purge valve) (9C915).






3. Remove the nut.






4. Remove the nuts and remove the evaporative emission canister purge valve.






5. Release the clamps and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.






6. Release the clamp and remove the heater hose.






7. Remove the nut and stud.






8. Disconnect the wire harness connector.






9. Remove the screws and remove the motor speed control.
10. To install, reverse the removal procedures.
- Clean and lubricate the coolant hoses with coolant hose lubricant or plain water only if needed.
11. Fill the engine coolant level.
