Air Conditioning Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Signal ECU when A/C is switched "ON," causing it to stabilize idle speed to compensate for load.

LOCATION
Instrument panel.

OPERATION
When A/C is switched "ON," ECU regulates idle speed control system to maintain good idle quality. ECU also makes corrections to fuel injection and ignition systems.
