Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

Intake System Component Replacement:

COMPONENTS
1. Fresh air duct
2. Accelerator cable
3. Air intake hose
4. Air cleaner
5. Air bypass valve
6. Pressure chamber
7. Air intake pipe
8. Water hose
9. Connector
10. Vacuum hose
11. Throttle body
12. Extension manifold
13. Fuel hose
14. Connector
15. Vacuum hose
16. Intake manifold
17. ISC solenoid valve
18. AWS solenoid valve
19. Intercooler

1. Remove in order shown, referring to Removal Note.
2. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as needed.
3. Install in reverse order, referring to Installation Note.

Removal Note

Drain Plug:

1. Loosen drain plug and radiator cap and drain coolant from radiator.
2. Remove water hose from throttle body. After assembly, refill cooling system.

Installation Note

Air Cleaner Clamps:

CAUTION: Position hose clamps in original locations and squeeze lightly with large pliers to ensure a good fit.
