Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection
Intake Air Thermosensor:
1.
Remove sensor and connect ohmmeter across terminals.
2.
Heat sensor and a thermometer with same source (such as a lamp) and measure sensor resistance:

2.2 - 2.7K ohms @ 68°F (20°C) ^
0.29 - 0.35K ohms @ 176°F (80°C) 3.
If not as specified, replace sensor.
