Boost Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Solenoid Valve Check:

1. Remove solenoid if necessary.
2. Blow through valve from port A; make sure air does not flow from port B.
3. Apply battery voltage to solenoid and check that air now flows through from A to B.
4. Check solenoid resistance. It should be:

29 - 33 ohms @ 68°F (20°C)

5. If not as specified, replace solenoid valve.
