Brake Signal: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
Stoplight switch signal is one of several inputs used by ECU to calculate control of idle speed control system.

LOCATION
Beneath dash adjacet to brake pedal assembly.

OPERATION
Switch is "ON" (shows continuity) when pedal is depressed, and "OFF" (no continuity) when pedal is released.
