Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Sensor Adjustment:

1. Warm engine to operating temperature and run at idle. Verify that throttle is off fast idle cam and stop engine.
2. Connect SST's, or equivalent, as shown. Turn ignition ON.

Throttle Sensor Specifications:

3. Rotate throttle link by hand and verify voltage is within specification.
4. If not, adjust sensor and check again. If still not correct, replace sensor.
