1-2 Switch (M/T)
Neutral And 1-2 Switches:
PURPOSE Informs ECU of manual transmission gear position. Input is used in ECU control calculations for turbocharger system and air pump relay control.
LOCATION Right side of transmission.
OPERATION Switch is a combination of two "ON/OFF" switches. ECU detects 1st or 2nd gear position by comparing which switch shows continuity and which does not.
