Fig. 20 S-sensor Continuity Test:
1.
Disable airbag system.
2.
Remove instrument panel.
3.
Disconnect S sensor connector.
4.
Check for continuity between terminals of sensor connectors,
Fig. 20. Continuity should exist between terminals B and E, C and D. Continuity should not exist between terminals B and C.
Do not connect ohmmeter to harness side connector. 5.
If continuity is not as specified, replace S sensor.
