DTC B1033[54] TPMS Not Programmed (Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Hi-version[Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Prioritized DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC B1033[61] or U1821[86] set at the same time?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Hi-version [Passive Entry and Start System])) DTC U1821[86] Invalid Data Received from ABS".

No

=>Go to Parameter check.

3. Parameter check

1) Select Data Display on the scan tool.

2) Observe the following parameters on the scan tool. Is there any parameter shows Not Programmed?

  • Front Right TPMS ID
  • Front Left TPMS ID
  • Rear Right TPMS ID
  • Rear Left TPMS ID

Yes

Perform the tire air pressure sensor setting.

Refer to "2.Suspension 2Z.Suspension Electrical Control tire air pressure sensor setting".

=>Go to Current DTC check.

No

=>Go to Current DTC check.

4. Current DTC check

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

6. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
