1) Observe whether a DTC is set in the BCM on the scan tool. Is a DTC set in the BCM?
Yes
=>Go to Radar sensor (Left) communication verification.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of body control system.
Refer to "223.Body Control 36D.Symptom(BCM) intermittent conditions of body control system".
1) Use the scan tool to communicate with the radar sensor (left) to display the data. Can communication with the radar sensor (left) be established?
Yes
=>Go to Radar sensor (left) DTC check.
No
Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Left)) Lost communication with radar sensor".
1) Observe whether a DTC is set in the radar sensor (left) on the scan tool. Is a DTC set in the radar sensor (left)?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
No
=>Go to Chassis CAN communication circuit and Body CAN communication circuit inspection.
1) Perform Chassis CAN communication circuit inspection and Body CAN communication circuit inspection.

Procedure completion
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
No
