1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Turn ON the ignition switch.
3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is radar sensor (Left) or radar sensor (Right) DTC C1106[04] set at the same time?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.
Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Left)) DTC C1106[04] Internal Error".
Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[04] Internal Error".
No
=>Go to Local CAN communication circuit inspection.
1) Inspect the Local CAN communication circuit between the radar sensor (Left) (pins 7 and 8 of R41) and the radar sensor (Right) (pins 7 and 8 of R40) for the following. Is the result normal?

Yes
=>Go to Radar sensor harness connector inspection.
No
Repair the circuit as necessary.
1) Inspect for poor connections at the radar sensor (Left) harness connector (pins 7 and 8 of R41) and radar sensor (Right) harness connector (pins 7 and 8 of R40). Is the connection status normal?
Refer to "LHD Radar Sensor" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

No
Repair the connections as necessary.
1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.
3) Turn ON the ignition switch.
4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to Radar sensor (Left) and radar sensor (Right) replacement.
No
