DTC C1106[95] Sensor ID Failure (Radar Sensor (Right))

1. Radar sensor system check

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) Diagnostic system check-radar sensor system".

2. Prioritized DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Are C1106[04], C1106[42], C1106[46], C1106[55], and C1106[57] set?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[04] Internal Error".

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[42] Memory Error".

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[46] Configuration Failure".

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[55] No Configured".

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Radar Sensor (Right)) DTC C1106[57] Software Compatibility Error".

No

=>Go to Sensor ID check.

3. Sensor ID check

1) Display the radar sensor (Right) Module Information with a scan tool.

2) Observe the radar sensor (Right) Sensor ID with a scan tool. Does the radar sensor (Right) Sensor ID display 0?

Yes

=>Go to Current DTC check.

No

=>Go to Inspection for incorrect assembly of radar sensor.

4. Inspection for incorrect assembly of radar sensor

1) Inspect whether the right and left radar sensors are incorrectly assembled. Is the result normal?

Note

  • To identify the right and left radar sensors, check the indication "R" or "L" on the projection for identification attached to the radar sensor or the indication "RH" or "LH" of the label on the back of the radar sensor.

Yes

=>Go to Radar sensor (Right) setting.

No

Repair incorrect assemblies as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Radar sensor (Right) setting

1) Perform programming of the radar sensor (Right).

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9E.Instrumentation, Driver Info. radar sensor setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Current DTC check.

6. Current DTC check

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Radar sensor (Right) replacement.

No

Go to Intermittent conditions of radar sensor system.

Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Radar Sensor) intermittent conditions of radar sensor system".

7. Radar sensor (Right) replacement

Note

  • Perform programming after replacing the radar sensor (Right).

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

8. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
