SPEAKER GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Center Speaker Grille

1.  To prevent scratches or damage, apply protective tape to the position shown in the figure.

2.  Insert the remover tool into the positions shown in the figure, move it in the order of arrows (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), and (6) and detach the hooks.

3.  Hold the shaded areas shown in the figure, move the center speaker grille in the order of arrows (1) and (2) and remove it while detaching the hooks.

4.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tweeter Grille (With tweeter)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the A-pillar trim. (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Move the tabs in the order of arrows (1) and (2) shown in the figure and remove the tweeter grille.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Rear Speaker Grille (With Bose®)

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Tonneau cover (With tonneau cover) (See TONNEAU COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Trunk board (See TRUNK BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Bass-box (With Bose^®) (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Sub-trunk (See SUB-TRUNK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  C-pillar trim (See C-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Rear speaker (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screws.

4.  Remove the rear speaker grille in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
