Improper positioning of camera/aiming error

Detection condition
•  The gateway unit (GWU) detects any of the following conditions.
―  360°view monitor control module detects an aiming error condition for 5 s or more.
―  360°view monitor control module detects that the front camera or rear mount camera is positioned improperly for 5 min while driving.
Fail-safe
•  Projected vehicle path distance guide lines and projected vehicle path lines are not displayed

•  Front camera poor installation
•  Rear mount camera poor installation
•  Aiming error
•  360°view monitor control module malfunction
•  Gateway unit (GWU) malfunction

INSPECT 360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the 360°view monitor control module.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF FRONT CAMERA IS INSTALLED POORLY
•  Verify the front camera installation condition.
•  Is the installation condition normal?
Yes
Install the front camera correctly and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF REAR MOUNT CAMERA IS INSTALLED POORLY
•  Verify the rear mount camera installation condition.
•  Is the installation condition normal?
Yes
Install the rear mount camera correctly and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IMPROPER POSITIONING OF CAMERA
•  Verify the center display screen and verify if there is a deviation on the following camera screens.
―  Front camera
―  Rear mount camera
•  Is there any screen occurring a deviation?
Yes
Perform the aiming for the deviated camera or the 360°view monitor system aiming, and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT 360°VIEW MONITOR CONTROL MODULE FOR MALFUNCTION DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the gateway unit (GWU).
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, replace the 360°view monitor control module and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to repair completion verification 2.
Repair completion verification 1
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the gateway unit (GWU).
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the gateway unit (GWU), then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs ARE DISPLAYED
•  Perform the DTC inspection.
•  Is a DTC displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
