Detection condition
|
• The dash-electrical supply unit detects a short to ground in the circuit of the temperature sensor of the refrigerant line for the electric compressor outlet.
|
||||
Fail-safe
|
• Fixes the temperature sensor of refrigerant line for electric compressor outlet input value at 150 °C {302 °F} and performs control.
|

|
• Malfunction of connector or terminal of temperature sensor of refrigerant line for electric compressor outlet
• Dash-electrical supply unit connector or terminal malfunction
• Short to ground in signal circuit of temperature sensor of refrigerant line for electric compressor outlet
• Short to ground in ground circuit of temperature sensor of refrigerant line for electric compressor outlet
• Malfunction of temperature sensor of refrigerant line for electric compressor outlet
• Dash-electrical supply unit malfunction

• Inspect the applicable circuit for a short to ground.

• Is the circuit normal?

• Inspect the applicable circuit for a short to ground.

• Is the circuit normal?

INSPECT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OF REFRIGERANT LINE FOR ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR OUTLET FOR MALFUNCTION
• Inspect the applicable part.
• Is the part normal?

Yes
|
Go to the next step.
|
No
|
Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification.

Repair completion verification 1
|
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
• Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
• Clear the DTC recorded in the memory.
(See CLEARING DTC.)
• Perform the DTC inspection for dash-electrical supply unit.
(See DTC INSPECTION.)
• Is the same DTC displayed?

Yes
|
Refer to the CAN (controller area network) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
• If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the dash-electrical supply unit, then go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.
