Detection condition	•  The battery charge control module (onboard charger) detects a malfunction in the frequency of the AC power supply that is input from the charging equipment to the battery charge control module (onboard charger).

•  Before inspecting or removing/installing the high voltage parts, refer to [HIGH VOLTAGE SERVICE CAUTIONS] in the general information and [High Voltage Part Inspection and Removal/Installation Notes] of the high voltage system service cautions and implement the necessary measures and preparations. 1	RECORD VEHICLE STATUS WHEN DTC WAS DETECTED TO UTILIZE WITH REPEATABILITY VERIFICATION •  Record the snapshot data. Note •  Recording can be facilitated using the screen capture function of the PC.	—	Go to the next step.
2	DETERMINE IF MALFUNCTION IS ON CHARGING EQUIPMENT SIDE •  Perform quick charging using charging equipment other than that used when the DTC was output. •  Perform the DTC inspection for the battery charge control module. (See DTC INSPECTION.) •  Is DTC P0D90:00 displayed as a current malfunction? Note •  If DTC P0D90:00 is displayed as a past malfunction, a malfunction in the charging equipment used when the DTC was output can be considered.	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	The system is normal. (Explain to the customer that there is a possibility that a malfunction was detected due to a charging equipment malfunction.) Go to the repair completion verification 2.
3	INSPECT FOR OTHER RELATED DTCs •  Perform the DTC inspection for the battery charge control module. (See DTC INSPECTION.) •  Are any of the following DTCs displayed? ―  P0D27:00 ―  P0D28:00 ―  P0D29:00 ―  P0D2A:00	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (See DTC P0D27:00 [BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE (e-SKYACTIV (E))].) (See DTC P0D28:00 [BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE (e-SKYACTIV (E))].) (See DTC P0D29:00 [BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE (e-SKYACTIV (E))].) (See DTC P0D2A:00 [BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE (e-SKYACTIV (E))].)
		No	Go to the next step.
4	INSPECT BATTERY CHARGE CONTROL MODULE (ONBOARD CHARGER) FOR MALFUNCTION DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY •  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure. •  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.) •  Perform quick charging using charging equipment other than that used when the DTC was output. •  Perform the DTC inspection for the Battery charge control module. (See DTC INSPECTION.) •  Is DTC P0D90:00 displayed as a current malfunction?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [L.H.D. (E)].) (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [R.H.D.].) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. •  If the malfunction recurs, replace the onboard charger, then go to the repair completion verification 2. (See ONBOARD CHARGER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the repair completion verification 2.
Repair completion verification 1	VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED •  Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC.) •  Perform quick charging using charging equipment other than that used when the DTC was output. •  Perform the DTC inspection for the Battery charge control module. (See DTC INSPECTION.) •  Is the same Pending DTC present?	Yes	Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error. (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [L.H.D. (E)].) (See CONTROLLER AREA NETWORK (CAN) MALFUNCTION DIAGNOSIS FLOW [R.H.D.].) If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1. •  If the malfunction recurs, replace the onboard charger, then go to the next step. (See ONBOARD CHARGER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
		No	Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification 2	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED •  Perform the DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION.) •  Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
