REAR ROOF LINK LIMIT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Using the retractable hardtop switch, keep the rear roof open.

2.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Wind blocker (See WIND BLOCKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Front seat back bar garnish (See SEAT BACK BAR GARNISH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Quarter trim (See QUARTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Tire house trim (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the seat belt retractor installation bolts and set aside the seat belt retractor. (See SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the side shelf and the rear side trim as a single unit. (See SIDE SHELF REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.  Remove the rear roof link assembly. (See REAR ROOF LINK ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

7.  Disconnect the connector.

8.  Remove the bands.

9.  Remove the wiring harness clip.

10.  Remove the screws.

11.  Remove the rear roof link limit switch.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
