PTC (POSITIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT) HEATER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [F35M-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [B65M-R].)

(4)  Boot panel (See FRONT CONSOLE COMPONENT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY.)

(5)  Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the ground and wiring harness clip.

4.  Disconnect the connector and bracket.

5.  Cut the dashboard as shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the PTC heater.

7.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.
