DTC P0093:00 |
Fuel system leak detection |
---|---|
DETECTION CONDITION
|
• The PCM monitors the fuel quantity corresponding to fuel pressure change from the fuel pressure sensor while the engine running. If the fuel quantity higher than the preprogrammed criteria, the PCM determines fuel system leakage.
Monitoring conditions
• Following conditions are met:
Diagnostic support note
• The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in first drive cycle.
• PENDING CODE is available if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
• FREEZE FRAME DATA (mode2) and snapshot data are available.
• The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
• Fuel pipe improper connection on fuel tank
• Fuel leakage or clogged fuel line
• Suction control valve malfunction
• Supply pump malfunction
• Fuel pressure sensor malfunction
• Fuel injector malfunction
• PCM malfunction
|
