REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Shift knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G35M-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [G66M-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [A26M-R].)

(3)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Center panel lower (See CENTER PANEL LOWER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connector and remove the wiring harness clip.

4.  Remove the screws A, B and screw C.

5.  Open the console lid and remove the screws D.

6.  Pull the rear console in the direction of the arrow in the order of (1), then detaching clips E and guide F.

7.  Pull up the rear console in the direction of the arrow (2) shown in the figure, move the rear console in the direction of the arrow (3), and remove it avoiding the parking brake lever.

8.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
