WASHER TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the set plate. (See SET PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the fresh-air duct installation bolts. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5T].) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)].) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.0, SKYACTIV-G 2.5 (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION)].) (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 2.2].)

4.  Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

5.  Remove the tank bracket in the direction of the arrow (1) while detaching tab.

6.  Remove the tank cap.

7.  While lightly pressing the upper part of the washer funnel in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, remove it from the tank bracket in the direction of the arrow (2).

8.  Disconnect the washer motor connector.

9.  Disconnect the washer fluid-level sensor connector. (With washer fluid-level sensor)

10.  Disconnect the headlight cleaner motor connector. (With headlight cleaner system)

11.  While pressing the tabs of the clips in the direction of the arrows (1) shown in the figure, remove them in the direction of the arrow (2).

12.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose from the washer motor.

13.  Disconnect the rear washer hose from the washer motor. (WGN)

14.  Remove the windshield washer hose from the hook.

15.  Remove the rear washer hose from the hook. (WGN)

16.  Remove bolts.

17.  Remove the washer tank positioning hook and notch from the vehicle and remove the washer tank.

18.  Remove the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

19.  Remove the washer fluid-level sensor. (With washer fluid-level sensor) (See WASHER FLUID-LEVEL SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

20.  Remove the headlight cleaner motor. (With headlight cleaner system) (See HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

21.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
