DTC P1714

Shift solenoid A does not operate.

DTC P1715

Shift solenoid B does not operate.

DETECTION CONDITION

• Malfunction in abnormal shift solenoid signal system identified during self-test.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Shift solenoid valve A malfunction
• Shift solenoid valve B malfunction
• A malfunction in the transaxle internal part
• PCM malfunction

VERIFY RELATED REPAIR INFORMATION AVAILABILITY

• Verify related Service Bulletins and or/on-line repair information availability.
• Is any related repair information available?
Yes
Perform repair or diagnosis according to the available repair information.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY DTCS

• Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position, then to the ON position.
• Verify the DTCs in the PCM memory.
• Are except DTCs P1714 and P1715 output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
Replace the solenoid body assembly, then go to the next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF DTC P1714 OR P1715 COMPLETED

• Make sure to reconnect all the disconnected connectors.
• Clear the DTC using the WDS or equivalent.
• Perform the "After Repair Procedure".
• Are any DTCs present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY DTCS
• Are except DTCs P1714 and P1715 output?
Yes
Go to the applicable DTC inspection.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
