HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING PANEL: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Radio and Display Type with Intuitive Parking Assist System)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (for Navigation Receiver Type)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT Removal

6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

7. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Radio Receiver Type) Removal

10. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Radio and Display Type) Removal

11. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for Navigation Receiver Type) Removal

12. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type) Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio Receiver Type) Removal

14. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type) Removal

15. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type) Removal

16. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type with Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

17. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Radio and Display Type with Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

18. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Navigation Receiver Type) Removal

19. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO RECEIVER BRACKET (for Navigation Receiver Type) Removal

20. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disengage the 4 clips and guide, and remove the air conditioning control assembly as shown in the illustration.
