1 Cylinder Block

2 Locking Bolt

• 45 Nm

• With rolled up seal.

• Bore in the cylinder block used for locking crankshaft with locking pin (T40069).

3 Knock Sensor (KS) 1 (G61)

• Pay attention to the installed position: the wire connection faces downward.

4 Bolt

• 20 Nm

• Tightening specification affect the function of the KS.

5 Bolt

• 10 Nm

6 Shield

7 Bayonet Connection

8 Wire Clamp

• Clamped on the shield.

9 Knock Sensor (KS) 2 (G66)

• Pay attention to the installed position: the wire connection faces outward 45° to the right.

10 Wire Bracket

• Bolted to the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) valve.

11 Connector

• Green for KS 1.

• Installed location.

• Contacts are gold plated.

12 Connector

• Gray for KS 2.

• Installed location.

• Contacts are gold plated.
