CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: DCM(TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER): REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
NOTICE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work Service Precautions.
2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE NO. 1 DECK BOARD Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD Removal
5. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal
6. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH Removal
7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
8. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
Removal
9. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL Removal
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL BOX ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal
12. REMOVE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Removal
13. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
14. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY Removal
15. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) WITH BACK-UP BATTERY
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts.
(c) Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the DCM (telematics transceiver) with back-up battery.
16. REMOVE NO. 3 DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) BRACKET Removal
17. REMOVE BACK-UP BATTERY
18. REMOVE NO. 2 DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 DCM (telematics transceiver) bracket.
19. REMOVE NO. 1 DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) BRACKET
(a) Remove the screw and No. 1 DCM (telematics transceiver) bracket.
20. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
