DTC U1B01[66] Unauthorized Signal Reception with ECM (Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System]))

1. Wireless access module system check

Refer to "71.Security and Locks Control 10S.Troubleshooting(Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])) Diagnostic system check-Wireless Access Module (Mid-version/Lo-version [Except Passive Entry and Start System])".

2. Prioritized DTC check

1) Turn ON the ignition switch.

2) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is DTC B1035[51], B1089[41], B1089[44], or B1089[45] set at the same time?

3) Observe the DTC information for the engine control system with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC diagnosis.

No

=>Go to Wireless access module programming and ECM programming.

3. Wireless access module programming and ECM programming

1) Perform programming of the security information into the wireless access module.

Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9Z.Body, Cab, Accessories Electrical Control wireless access module setting (without passive entry and start system)".

2) Perform programming of the security information into the ECM.

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(4JJ3 with DPD) ECM setting".

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(4JJ3 without DPD) ECM setting".

Refer to "1.Engine 1Z.Engine Electrical Control(RZ4E-TC) ECM setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Current DTC check.

4. Current DTC check

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to ECM replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. ECM replacement

Note

  • Perform programming after replacing the ECM.

6. Current DTC follow-up check

1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Wireless access module replacement.

No

=>Go to Repair verification.

7. Wireless access module replacement

Note

  • After replacing the wireless access module, programming must be performed.
