DTC C0526[54] Steering Angle Sensor Adjustment Failure (ABS/ESC)

1. Brake control system check

Refer to "54.Brake Control 4A.Troubleshooting(ABS/ESC) diagnostic System Check - Brake Controls".

2. Steering angle sensor installation status inspection

1) Inspect the installation status of the steering angle sensor. Is the installation status normal?

Refer to "6.Steering 6Z.Steering Electrical Control steering angle sensor installation".

Yes

=>Go to Steering angle sensor replacement.

No

Repair as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

3. Steering angle sensor replacement

1) Replace the steering angle sensor.

Refer to "6.Steering 6Z.Steering Electrical Control steering angle sensor removal".

Refer to "6.Steering 6Z.Steering Electrical Control steering angle sensor installation".

Refer to "6.Steering 6Z.Steering Electrical Control steering angle sensor setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Procedure completion verification.

4. Procedure completion verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Jack up the front wheel and turn the steering wheel completely to the left and right.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to EHCU replacement.

No

The system is normal.

5. EHCU replacement

Refer to "4.Brakes 4Z.Brake Electrical Control EHCU removal".

Refer to "4.Brakes 4Z.Brake Electrical Control EHCU installation".

Refer to "4.Brakes 4Z.Brake Electrical Control EHCU setting".

Procedure completion

=>Go to Repair verification.

6. Repair verification

1) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

2) Turn OFF the ignition switch.

3) Turn ON the ignition switch.

4) Jack up the front wheel and turn the steering wheel completely to the left and right.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
