DTC B1E00[00] Power Supply Failure Malfunction (Stereo Camera)

1. Stereo camera system check

Refer to "75.Driver Assistance System 10W.Troubleshooting(Stereo Camera) diagnostic system check-stereo camera".

2. Current DTC check

1) Connect the scan tool.

2) Turn ON the ignition switch.

3) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera battery voltage check.

No

Go to Intermittent conditions of stereo camera.

Refer to "233.Driver Assistance System 46D.Symptom(Stereo Camera) intermittent conditions of stereo camera".

3. Stereo camera battery voltage check

1) Disconnect the stereo camera harness connector (L17).

2) Measure the voltage between the battery power supply circuit of the stereo camera harness connector (pin 1 of L17) and the body ground with a DMM. Is the voltage more than or equal to the specified value?

Refer to "LHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Value: 12 V

Yes

=>Go to Inspection for short circuit in stereo camera battery power supply circuit.

No

=>Go to Fuse inspection.

4. Inspection for short circuit in stereo camera battery power supply circuit

1) Inspect the battery power supply circuit between the STEREO CAMERA(+B) 5A fuse and the stereo camera (pin 1 of L17) for a short to other power supply circuits. Is the result normal?

Refer to "LHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera replacement.

No

Repair the circuit as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

5. Fuse inspection

1) Inspect the STEREO CAMERA(+B) 5A fuse for a blowout. Is the result normal?

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera battery power supply circuit inspection.

No

Replace the fuse. If the fuse blows out again, repair the short to ground in the circuits relating to the fuse.

=>Go to Repair verification.

6. Stereo camera battery power supply circuit inspection

1) Inspect the battery power supply circuit between the STEREO CAMERA(+B) 5A fuse and the stereo camera (pin 1 of L17) for the following. Is the result normal?

  • Open circuit or high resistance
  • Short to ground
  • Short to another circuit

Refer to "RHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera harness connector inspection.

No

Repair the circuit as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

7. Stereo camera harness connector inspection

1) Inspect for poor connections at the stereo camera harness connector (pin 1 of L17). Is the connection status normal?

Refer to "LHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Refer to "RHD Stereo Camera" in the ETM (wiring diagram). (Open using the ETM viewer.).

Yes

=>Go to Stereo camera replacement.

No

Repair the connections as necessary.

=>Go to Repair verification.

8. Stereo camera replacement

Note

  • Perform programming and learning after replacing the stereo camera.

=>Go to Repair verification.

9. Repair verification

1) Securely connect the disconnected harness connectors.

2) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.

3) Turn OFF the ignition switch for 30 seconds or more.

4) Turn ON the ignition switch.

5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool.
