Replacement part

1.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Front fog light (With front fog light) (See FRONT FOG LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Active bonnet sensor (With active bonnet sensor) (See ACTIVE BONNET SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Active bonnet sensor wiring harness (With active bonnet sensor or front ultrasonic sensor) (See ACTIVE BONNET SENSOR WIRING HARNESS REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Front ultrasonic sensor (With front ultrasonic sensor) (See FRONT ULTRASONIC SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Radiator grille (See RADIATOR GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Disassemble in the order shown in the figure.

1	Cover (With license plate bracket )
2	License plate bracket (With license plate bracket ) (See Rivet Removal Note.)
3	Front fog light cover (With front fog light) Hole cover (Without front fog light)
4	Front fog light cover garnish (With front fog light) Hole cover garnish (Without front fog light)
5	Front bumper retainer (With active bonnet sensor)
6	Front bumper bracket
7	Towing hook cover
8	Front bumper face

3.  Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.

Rivet Removal Note

1.  When removing the rivet, perform the following procedure:

(1)  Secure the rivet pin from the front bumper face side using needle-nose pliers.

(2)  Use the following drill diameter.

Drill diameter:

4.9 mm {0.19 in}

Caution

•  If an inappropriate drill diameter is used, the front bumper face may be damaged.

(3)  Remove the rivet flange using a drill and remove the rivet.

(4)  Remove any rivet shavings from the front bumper face and license plate holder.
