REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Rear Console

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Console side panel (See CONSOLE SIDE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Selector lever knob (See SELECTOR LEVER COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Rear console panel (See REAR CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Rear cooler duct (See REAR COOLER DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Disconnect the connectors.

4.  Remove wiring harness clips A and B.

5.  Remove the bolts.

6.  Move the rear console in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure, detach the clips from the center lower panel, and then remove the rear console.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Second-row Seat Console Box (with second-row seat console box)

Second-row seat console box

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Open the console lid.

3.  Move the second-row seat console panel in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure and detach the tabs.

4.  Open the second-row seat adjuster cover in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move it in the direction of arrows (2) while detaching the tabs from the front seats, and then detach the clips from the front seats.

5.  Remove the second-row seat adjuster cover.

6.  Remove the bolts.

7.  Insert the remover tool into the position shown in the figure, move it in the direction of the arrows, and then detach tabs A and B from the second-row seat console box.

8.  Remove the bracket cover.

9.  Disconnect the connector.

10.  Remove the bolts.

11.  Remove the second-row seat console box.

12.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Storage box

1.  Open the storage box.

2.  Insert a remover tool into the position shown in the figure.

3.  Move the remover tool in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure and detach the tab from the storage box.

4.  Move the storage box in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove the storage box from the second-row seat console box.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
