WASHER TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)]

Note

•  If the procedure is performed with washer fluid in the washer tank, the washer fluid may leak out. When performing the servicing, place a container for receiving the washer fluid under the washer tank.

Without Headlight Cleaner System

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper.(See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

3.  Insert the remover tool into the service hole.

Note

•  If the washer tank bracket is not to be replaced, it does not need to be removed.

4.  While pressing the washer tank bracket tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the washer tank bracket in the direction of arrow (2) to remove the washer tank bracket from the shroud upper member.

5.  Remove the caps.

6.  While pressing the washer funnel in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the washer funnel in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove the washer funnel from the washer tank bracket.

7.  Disconnect the connectors.

8.  While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the clip in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove it from the washer tank.

9.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose and the rear washer hose from the washer motor.

10.  Remove the windshield washer hose and rear washer hose from the hooks of the washer tank. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See REAR WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

11.  Pull out the windshield washer hose and rear washer hose from area A of the washer tank.

12.  Remove the bolts.

13.  Move the washer tank in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out the washer tank hook from the vehicle.

14.  Pull out the washer tank pin from the vehicle and remove the washer tank.

15.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

16.  Perform the 360°view monitor system aiming. (with 360°view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

17.  Perform the front radar sensor/front side radar sensor aiming. (With front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR/FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

18.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming. (Without front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

With Headlight Cleaner System

1.  Disconnect the negative lead-acid battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE LEAD-ACID BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the front bumper.(See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(E)].)

3.  Insert the remover tool into the service hole.

Note

•  If the washer tank bracket is not to be replaced, it does not need to be removed.

4.  While pressing the washer tank bracket tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the washer tank bracket in the direction of arrow (2) to remove the washer tank bracket from the shroud upper member.

5.  Remove the caps.

6.  While pressing the washer funnel in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the washer funnel in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove the washer funnel from the washer tank bracket.

7.  Disconnect the connectors.

8.  While pressing the clip tabs in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, move the clip in the direction of arrow (2) shown in the figure and remove it from the washer tank.

9.  Disconnect the windshield washer hose and the rear washer hose from the washer motor.

10.  Remove the windshield washer hose and rear washer hose from the hooks of the washer tank. (See WINDSHIELD WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.) (See REAR WASHER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

11.  Pull out the windshield washer hose and rear washer hose from area A of the washer tank.

12.  Remove the bolts.

13.  Move the washer tank in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and pull out the washer tank hook from the vehicle.

14.  Pull out the washer tank pin from the vehicle and remove the washer tank.

15.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

16.  Perform the 360°view monitor system aiming. (with 360°view monitor system) (See 360°VIEW MONITOR SYSTEM AIMING.)

17.  Perform the front radar sensor/front side radar sensor aiming. (With front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR/FRONT SIDE RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)

18.  Perform the front radar sensor aiming. (Without front side radar sensor) (See FRONT RADAR SENSOR AIMING.)
