MAZDA ERA-GLONASS CONTROL MODULE BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  CD player (with CD player) (See CD PLAYER REMOVAL.) (See CD PLAYER INSTALLATION.)

(3)  DVD/CD player (with DVD/CD player) (See DVD/CD PLAYER REMOVAL.) (See DVD/CD PLAYER INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Selector lever knob (ATX) (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Shift lever knob (MTX) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [C66M-R].) (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [D66M-R, D66MX-R].)

(6)  Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(8)  Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(9)  Rear vent duct (See REAR VENT DUCT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.  Remove the screw.

4.  Move the cover in the direction of the arrows in the order of (1) and (2) and remove it from the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module.

5.  Disconnect the connector.

6.  Remove the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module battery.

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
