Refer to "54.Brake Control 4A.Troubleshooting(ABS/ESC) diagnostic System Check - Brake Controls".
1) Connect the scan tool.
2) Clear the DTC with a scan tool.
3) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
4) Turn ON the ignition switch.
5) Observe the DTC information with a scan tool. Is a DTC set?
Yes
=>Go to ESC OFF switch inspection.
No
Go to Intermittent conditions of brake.
Refer to "205.Brakes 18D.Symptom intermittent conditions of brake".
1) Inspect the ESC OFF switch. Is the result normal?
Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9C.Electrical Control, Entertainment ESC OFF switch inspection".
Yes
=>Go to ESC OFF switch wire harness and connector inspection.
No
Replace the ESC OFF switch.
Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9C.Electrical Control, Entertainment ESC OFF switch removal".
Refer to "9.Body, Cab, Accessories 9C.Electrical Control, Entertainment ESC OFF switch installation".
1) Turn OFF the ignition switch.
2) Disconnect the EHCU harness connector (C13) and ESC OFF switch harness connector (B28).
3) Inspect the wire harnesses and connectors for the following. Is the result normal?
