Note

•  The heater pipe and hose component consists of the following parts.

Front Heater Hose No.1, No.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Plug hole plate (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(2)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(3)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

4.  Remove the front heater hose No.1.

5.  Remove the front heater hose No.2.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

Front Heater Hose No.3, No.4

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Plug hole plate (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(2)  Windshield wiper arm and blade (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Windshield wiper motor and link (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Keyless beeper (with advanced keyless entry system) (See KEYLESS BEEPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Cowl panel (See COWL PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the front heater hose No.3.

5.  Remove the front heater hose No.4.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

Front Heater Hose No.5, No.6

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Plug hole plate (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(2)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(3)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

4.  Remove the front heater hose No.5.

5.  Remove the front heater hose No.6.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

Front Heater Pipe

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Plug hole plate (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(2)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(3)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(4)  Front under cover No.2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Windshield wiper arm and blade (See WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Cowl grille (See COWL GRILLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(7)  Windshield wiper motor and link (See WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

4.  Remove the nuts.

5.  Remove the insulator.

6.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.1.

7.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.2.

8.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.3.

9.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.4.

10.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.5.

11.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.6.

12.  Remove the nuts.

13.  Remove the front heater pipe.

14.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

15.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

Rear Heater Hose No.1, No.2

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Floor under cover No.2 (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)  Floor under cover No.1 (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)  Tunnel member

(4)  Strut bar

(5)  Insulator (middle) (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

4.  Remove the rear heater hose No.1.

5.  Remove the rear heater hose No.2.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

Rear Heater Pipe

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

(1)  Battery (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(2)  Battery tray (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

(3)  Front under cover No.2 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)  Floor under cover No.2 (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)  Floor under cover No.1 (See FLOOR UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)  Insulator (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

4.  Remove the TWC from the mount rubber.

5.  Disconnect the TWC from the main silencer. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

6.  Suspend the TWC using a cable as shown in the figure.

7.  Remove the propeller shaft. (4WD) (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

8.  Remove the Insulator (front) (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

9.  Disconnect the HO2S harness connector.

10.  Remove the bolt.

11.  Remove the bracket.

12.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.5.

13.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.6.

14.  Disconnect the rear heater hose No.1.

15.  Disconnect the rear heater hose No.2.

16.  Remove the nut.

18.  Remove the rear heater pipe from the clip.

19.  Remove the rear heater pipe.

20.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

Front Heater Hose No.3, No.4

1.  Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-G 2.5].)

3.  Remove the following parts:

4.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.1.

7.  Disconnect the front heater hose No.6.

8.  Remove the nuts.

3.  Remove the following parts:

3.  Remove the following parts:
