SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder malfunction

Detection condition
•  The connectivity master unit (CMU) detects an open circuit in siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

•  Tuner and amp unit connector or terminal malfunction
•  SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.1 connector or terminal malfunction
•  Open circuit in siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.1
•  SiriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.2 connector or terminal malfunction
•  Open circuit in siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.2
•  SiriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier connector or terminal malfunction
•  SiriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier malfunction
•  Tuner and amp unit malfunction

INSPECT TUNER AND AMP UNIT CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Switch the ignition off.
•  Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
•  Disconnect the tuner and amp unit connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No.1 CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the antenna feeder No.1 connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER No.1
•  Inspect siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.1.
•  Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.1 normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.1, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT ANTENNA FEEDER No.2 CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the antenna feeder No.2 connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA FEEDER No.2
•  Inspect siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.2.
•  Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.2 normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna feeder No.2, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA AMPLIFIER CONNECTOR CONDITION
•  Disconnect the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier connector.
•  Inspect the connector engagement and connection condition and inspect the terminals for damage, deformation, corrosion, or disconnection.
•  Is the connector normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace the connector, then go to Step 8.

INSPECT SIRIUSXM SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA AMPLIFIER
•  Inspect the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier.
•  Is the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier normal?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Replace the siriusXM satellite radio antenna amplifier, then go to the next step.

VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED
•  Always reconnect all disconnected connectors.
•  Connect the negative battery terminal.
•  Clear the DTC for the connectivity master unit (CMU) using the M-MDS.
•  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 7 s or more.
•  Perform the DTC inspection for the connectivity master unit (CMU) using the M-MDS.
•  Is the same Pending DTC present?
Yes
Repeat the inspection from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction recurs, replace the tuner and amp unit.
Go to the next step.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED
•  Are any other DTCs displayed?
Yes
Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
